Meghan Markle has sent a touching message to Prince Harry – who is away attending the Invictus Games – with a post to Instagram showing the couple kissing.

Despite reports that Markle has been sad and stressed by the backlash to her new brand American Riviera Orchard, the mother-of-two paints a loved-up picture of home life.

Meanwhile, Prince William is seen in a rare display of public affection planting a kiss on the cheek of Princess Catherine who can be seen reacting in a fit of giggles.

The touching photo of the Prince and Princess of Wales shows the couple carefree and in love with their fingers intimately entwined as Williams gives his wife a cute peck.

The photo was released following the future Queen’s busy return to royal life in the wake of her cancer battle.

The photo, which was released to mark Valentine’s Day, is the latest in a series of public shows of adoration by Prince William for his wife.

The Duchess of Sussex, meanwhile, is clearly missing her husband on Valentine’s Day but happy to be with the couple’s children Archie and Lilibet.

Her touching post read: “Back home taking care of our babies, and missing my Valentine, as he continues on at the Invictus Games, changing lives and reminding all of us of the power of healing and resilience through these incredible veterans and their families. Beyond proud of my husband and what he’s created.

My love, I will eat burgers & fries and fish & chips with you forever. Thank you for you.”

The charming photo of William and Kate comes a month after the clearly besotted Prince shared an uncharacteristically personal message to mark his wife’s 43rd birthday.

“To the most incredible wife and mother. The strength you’ve shown over the last year has been remarkable. George, Charlotte, Louis and I are so proud of you. Happy Birthday, Catherine. We love you. W,” the birthday greeting read.

It’s been a busy few weeks for Princess Catherine who has commenced her gentle return to royal duties.

Her flurry of recent engagements began with a poignant return to The Royal Marsden to visit patients at the hospital where the Princess received her own treatment.

It was followed by an engagement for one of her pet projects, The Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood, which is expanding its trial of program designed to support young families in the social emotional development of their babies.

Kate also made the solemn trip Auschwitz to commemorate the 80th anniversary of its liberation.
