A cryptic social media post from Brooklyn Beckham to his wife Nicola has added fuel to speculation about the apparent rift between the couple and his family.
With video footage of the couple on a motorcycle, Brooklyn posted a sweet message to his wife of three years.
“My whole world x,” he wrote in Instagram.
“I will love you forever x I always choose you baby x you’re the most amazing person I know xx me and you forever baby”.
He finished the post with two love hearts.
Cruz, 20, also appeared to hit back at his brother by siding firmly with the siblings’ parents, noting they ‘cared for us no matter what’ .
He posted an Instagram Story with a family photo, thanking David and Victoria and paying tribute to the couple.
Notably the family photo included Brooklyn among the line-up, suggesting Cruz was calling on his brother to finally put an end the hostilities.
The budding musician wrote: “I love my family, I love you guys more than anything, mum & dad, you gave us life and cared for us no matter what, I cannot tell you how blessed we all are to have you in our lives x.”
Brooklyn Beckham’s ride or die tribute to his wife, which was layered with a Lana Del Rey song, received a massive response from fans and crticis alike, with many warning the former photographer and aspiring foodie that ‘blood is thicker than water’.
“Don’t forget your beautiful parents who will always love you unconditionally,” one person wrote.
“Don’t forget who loves you the most, and who loved you first. She’s a wonderful wife but fix this kid,” another commented.
Tensions within the Beckham family have escalated after Brooklyn, 26, and Nicola, 30, skipped David Beckham’s star-studded 50th birthday celebration earlier this month.
While some reports initially blamed Romeo’s current girlfriend, Kim Turnbull, for the drama, citing her brief 2016 romance with Brooklyn, sources now suggest the fallout began years earlier.
According to insiders, the real fracture dates back to Brooklyn and Nicola’s lavish Palm Beach wedding in 2022.
Guests reportedly found Nicola’s behaviour toward Mia “baffling,” with claims that she completely ignored Romeo’s then-girlfriend throughout the festivities. The couple had been dating for three years at the time.
Nicola also allegedly snubbed Mia in the lead-up to the wedding, despite Romeo serving as one of Brooklyn’s best men alongside their younger brother, Cruz, 20.
“Brooklyn and Romeo have been fighting for a significant amount of time,” a source told the Daily Mail. “They do not get on. It has been so difficult for David and Victoria.”
Once described as “inseparable,” Brooklyn and Romeo have reportedly drifted apart, leaving their parents heartbroken.
“Things have been terrible for a long time. All David and Victoria ever wanted was a big, happy family,” the insider said.
The wedding reportedly marked a turning point. Romeo viewed the surrounding drama as “unnecessary,” and has kept his distance ever since. Despite repeated denials of a family rift from Brooklyn and Nicola, reports suggest they rarely speak to the Beckham clan.
Nicola and Brooklyn had planned to attend the event but allegedly pulled out last-minute - largely due to Kim’s presence, according to The Sun.
Adding to the divide, the couple also skipped a private family gathering at the Beckhams’ multimillion-dollar Cotswolds estate earlier this month.
All of Brooklyn’s siblings, including Cruz and Harper, 13, were present, celebrating with their parents and A-list guests like Tom Cruise and Guy Ritchie.
