Bonnie Blue spotted walking into Bali’s Immigration office

Controversial adult star Bonnie Blue could still face legal woes in Bali over the pick-up truck known as her “BangBus”.

It comes after Indonesia’s Immigration department said Blue and her crew would be deported and “blacklisted” from Indonesia for at least a decade.

The tray-van Blue purchased and painted blue with “Bonnie Blue’s BangBus” livery could be in breach of a local traffic law that “goods vehicles or open air trucks” being used without a valid reason.

Earlier, this masthead revealed Blue will not be charged with any serious offence after investigators found no indication the social media star was making pornographic content while in Indonesia.

The investigation into Blue and her team was launched after a tip-off to police leading to a raid at a studio on Thursday.

On Wednesday, Blue and members of her team including British men Lennon Isaac Nabiel and Liam Andrew Jackson and lewd Australian jokester Julian Woods, were interviews at Bali’s Immigration office,

She hired Indonesian lawyer Edward Pankahila to represent her.

Blue was arrested in Bali on December 4 after Indonesian police raided a villa, where it was alleged pornography was being filmed.

Police seized cameras and other items including contraceptives, Viagra pills, and the blue “Bonnie Blue’s Bangbus”.

Here’s what we know about her case so far.

WHO IS BONNIE BLUE?

Blue’s real name is Tia Billinger.

Formerly an OnlyFans creator, the British porn star now shares her content through Fansly.

WHY WAS BONNIE BLUE ARRESTED?

Indonesian authorities arrested the 26-year-old over alleged breaches to its strict “morality” laws surrounding sexual conduct.

WHAT’S THE LATEST WITH HER INVESTIGATION?

Blue has avoided being charged over alleged breaches to strict “morality” related content laws surrounding sexual conduct in Bali, after police could not find evidence of her or her crew making pornographic content.

But Blue is set to face court on Friday over infringing Bali’s traffic laws by using the “Bonnie Blue’s BangBus” to promote her Bali tour.

She could be charged under a traffic law which prohibits “goods vehicles or open air trucks” being used without a valid reason.

Breaching this law attracts a month in jail or a fine of 250,000 Rupiah, the equivalent of $25.

The tray-van, purchased for about $1800 in Bali, was painted blue with a “Bonnie Blue’s BangBus” livery.

Blue, however, has told police she never drove the truck. which was allegedly driven by Liam Andrew Jackson who does not have an international driver’s licence.

“The purpose to buy the car is to make content,” Police chief Arif Batubara said.

Blue and her crew will be deported from the country for breaching their visa privileges after the conclusion of the police investigation, Indonesia's Immigration chief Heru Winarko said in a press conference outside Ngurah Rai Immigration Office on Thursday.

“They have missused the visa they have to make content in Bali,” Mr Winarko said.

“They will be blacklisted from entering Indonesia for at least 10 years (that) could be extended.”

According to Badung Police, investigators found they arrived in Bali to create daily life content while vacationing, and were at the Balism studio to take part in the production of an entertainment-themed reality show.

Badung Police Chief Arif Batubara, said the investigation is being conducted professionally and objectively.

“We ensure that the entire process is carried out based on legal facts, and we are conducting a joint investigation with Immigration,” he said.

“So far, no pornographic elements have been found, but there are strong indications of violations of the traffic law and immigration violations, which we continue to investigate,” he said.

He added that Badung Police will continue coordinating with the prosecutor’s office and immigration authorities to determine the next legal steps.

WHO IS BONNIE BLUE’S LAWYER?

The porn star has hired Indonesian lawyer Edward Pankahila.

Pankahila is one of the ‘go-to’ lawyers for tourists and expats facing criminal investigation in Bali.

Currently he is representing Australian Lamar Ahchee, who is facing a potential nine years in Kerobokan jail over alleged drug offending in Bali.

WHERE IS BONNIE BLUE NOW?

Ms Billinger and three men who are part of her team remain in Bali after their passports were seized by Indonesian Immigration officials.

Blue was staying at an up-market villa in the Munggu area of Bali before moving to new accommodation.

She and her team are attempting to keep a low profile until the legal storm dies down.

Immigration official Raja Ulul Azmy said Blue could be deported after the police investigation was completed.

WHERE WAS BONNIE BLUE STAYING?

Blue and her team were staying at the Coco Lifestyle Residence in the Munggu area.

The stylish residence – which is advertised for $75AUD a night – included an outdoor swimming pool, a sauna, hot tub, sun terrace and even a pool bar.

WHERE WAS THE RAID?

Police allegedly raided a studio named Balism in Pererenan in the Badung district. It is a multipurpose rental studio which touts itself for “stills and motion” space.

WHO WERE THE AUSTRALIANS WITH BONNIE BLUE?

There were 14 men aged 19-40 arrested alongside Bonnie Blue and her team by Indonesian authorities on Thursday last week.

The three members of her crew that were arrested were British men Liam Andrew Jackson and Lennon Isaac Nabiel and Australian jokester Julian Woods. They have not been charged.

HOW MUCH JAIL TIME IS BONNIE BLUE FACING?

If prosecuted and found guilty of breaching Indonesia’s anti-pornography law, Ms Billinger faces up to 15 years’ imprisonment in Indonesia and fines up to 6 billion rupiah (approximately AUD$541,000), which are the maximum penalties.

WHAT HAS BLUE BEEN DOING IN BALI?

Since arriving in Bali, Ms Billinger has used her huge social media channel to share call outs for school leavers to make contact.

“Hey boys, those who are going to Schoolies, and those that are barely legal, cannot wait to meet you,” she posted last week.

“I’m in Bali so you know exactly what that means.”

WHY WAS SHE KICKED OUT OF AUSTRALIA?

Ms Billinger was banned from Australia last year after her “barely legal” stunt during which she called for “Schoolies” to be involved in her X-rated content.
