Two men in hospital after stabbings in Werribee, Tol Tol

Two men have been taken to hospital after separate stabbing attacks in the western suburbs and a small town in the state’s northwest on Friday night.

Two men are in hospital after stabbing attacks in Werribee and Tol Tol in the state’s northwest on Friday night.

The 38-year-old Werribee man was found by emergency services outside a residence on Lancashire Drive about 11.30pm Friday.

He was taken to hospital with lacerations to his arm and non-life threatening injuries.

Police have established a crime scene and will continue to examine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

It is believed the two parties involved in the altercation were known to each other.

This incident comes as another man drove himself to hospital after sustaining stab wounds in Victoria’s northwest.

A police spokeswoman said the 20-year-old male victim “self presented” at Robinvale Hospital with stab wounds just after 10.30pm on Friday.

Investigators were told the victim had been involved in an alleged dispute with another man on O’Connors Lane in the small town of Tol Tol.

A 39-year-old Robinvale man handed himself into police over the incident and is awaiting an interview with detectives as of Saturday morning.

It is believed all parties involved are known to each other.
