A pedestrian has been struck and killed by a car in Melbourne’s west on Saturday morning.
About 4.30am, a car struck a pedestrian at the intersection of Geelong Rd and Docklands Highway.
The male pedestrian, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their inquiries.
Circumstances surrounding the collision remain unclear, with investigations ongoing.
