Dramatic footage has captured two men belting each other with metal poles in a Botanic Ridge carpark before one of them is run over by a van in a violent brawl posted online.

The armed pair were seen striking each other in the car park of a Coles supermarket earlier this week in which they traded several lusty blows.

One of the pair was repeatedly whacked over the head and body with what appears to be a small metal pole or baton before he was again pushed to the ground.

The other man scrambles back to the van before his windscreen is smashed as the daylight and public brawl takes another dramatic and dangerous turn.

His feet appear to be run over by the white van as it sped off from the ugly scene in Botanic Ridge, near Cranbourne.

A truckie was also seen watching the wild spat from the driver’s seat of his vehicle nearby.

It is not believed to have been reported to the police, which is often the case if a victim would be unwilling to co-operate with detectives.
