Two women are dead following a horror single-vehicle crash in Far North Queensland on Sunday.
The driver, a 60-year-old Hope Vale woman, and her passenger, a 59-year-old Manoora woman, died at the scene after their Toyota LandCruiser left the Mulligan Highway about 5km west of Lakeland and rolled into a nearby creek.
The accident happened about 1.50pm.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating circumstance of the crash.
