Two men have had an unhappy start to their Easter long weekend after Queensland Police paid their Darling Downs property a visit.
Multiple police squads including the Tactical Crime Squad, Rural and Stock Crime Squad and Millmerran police conducted a search of the Millmerran Woods property, locating 335 cannabis plants, 3.4kg of loose cannabis and other drug related hydroponic property.
During the search of the Cabbage Gum Rd property police also located and seized a firearm and knuckledusters.
A QPS spokesman said a 37-year-old and 58-year-old Millmerran Woods man have been charged with five offences including two counts of unlawful possession of weapons category A, B or M and one count each of producing dangerous drugs, possessing dangerous drugs and possess used utensils or pipes.
The 58-year-old man was also charged with one count of possessing anything used in the commission of a crime.
Both men are set to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on May 27.
Investigations are ongoing.
