TWO men have been hospitalised after losing control of a jetski at Runaway Bay.
Police have reported the two 80-year-olds were trying to launch the jetski in water outside of a home on Howard Street just before 11.30am.
They were said to be standing on a pontoon, trying to untie the jetski from a pole when it accidentally accelerated, throwing the men back.
Three Queensland ambulance crews and water police attended.
Both men were transported to Gold Coast University, both with minor leg injuries.
