A motorcycle and car have collided on the Gold Coast M1, causing lengthy delays as emergency services responded.
The crash occurred southbound on the Pacific Motorway just after the Smith St Motorway overpass around 9.45am on Tuesday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics treated the motorcyclist at the scene before they were transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition. Their injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.
No other injuries were reported.
Several kilometres of delays built up back to Upper Coomera as emergency services worked to clear the scene. The congestion had mostly cleared by 11.30.
