A 45-YEAR-OLD man has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car in Southport today.
Police said about 4.45pm the man was hit by a car on Lilli Pilli Drive before it sped off without stopping.
Paramedics said the man complained of arm and back injuries when they arrived.
He was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
