Kilometres of delays are building on the M1 in both directions near Stapylton following an early morning crash.
About 8km of traffic had banked up southbound around 6.30am on Thursday.
By 7am, delays stretched back to Loganholme and were building on the Logan Motorway off-ramp. Northbound traffic is slow from Ormeau.
A Queensland Ambulance Spokesman said the three-vehicle crash occurred just before 6am. Paramedics assessed the drivers of the vehicles, who were uninjured.
Emergency services remained at the scene around 40 minutes after the crash, clearing the cars and debris from the roadway.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra travel time with delays expected to impact peak hour traffic.
