Tyres punctured by screws and rivets scattered on City’s north roads
Motorists have been warned when driving along one of the City’s norths busiest roads this morning after multiple people have had their tyres punctured after driving over screws.

MOTORISTS travelling through Coomera have been warned by the community to ‘be careful’ after screws have been scattered over roads.
Dozens of roofing screws and rivets were found scattered across two lanes of the busy Foxwell Road late last night.
A Coomera woman and her partne were driving on the road when the screws punctured all four tyres.
After returning home, the couple headed back to the road about 8.30pm to try to sweep the screws off the two lanes.
Traffic maintenance were called last night and spent over an hour and a half trying to remove the debris from the roads, but there are still fears some of them may have been missed in the clean up.

The woman, who had all four tyres ruined, took to the Coomera Community Facebook Page to alert others.
The Bulletin understands at least two others had their vehicles tyres punctured.
