One driver taken to hospital after cars, bike crash at Currumbin Waters
A MAN has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a high-speed collision at Currumbin Waters.

About 1.15pm a white sedan and a blue ute crashed on Galleon Way, forcing a cyclist to also run into the vehicles.
The cyclist and driver of the blue ute were uninjured, but the driver of the white car suffered extensive injuries.
Fire crews had to remove the man from the crumpled car and paramedics worked on him for about 45 minutes before he was taken to hospital.
The street has been closed in both directions since the crash with police directing some traffic around the scene.
The transported man’s age and injuries are not known at this time.
