Traffic is heavily banked after a five-car crash on the M1, resulting in a two-lane closure.
At 6pm five cars collided with each other on the M1 northbound, with one car becoming stuck in the middle of the road.
One of the five cars involved in the Helensvale north crash is a P-plater, according to witnesses.
Traffic is at a crawl at Exit 62 as the two left lanes are closed.
Four tow trucks are on scene to remove the vehicles.
It’s understood no one was injured in the crash.
Police are on scene directing traffic.
