Gold Coast traffic: public transport delayed by congestion on highway and M1

Congestion is delaying public transport on the Gold Coast by up to 30 minutes.

TRAFFIC is delayed on roads in southern Gold Coast with both the Gold Coast Hwy and Pacific Motorway impacted.

Congestion along the Gold Coast Hwy near Palm Beach is causing buses to be delayed by up to 30 minutes, with routes 700, 765 and 777 affected.

Traffic is also crawling along the M1 at Reedy Creek as motorists begin to leave the southern beaches.

Traffic on the M1 between the Gold Coast and Brisbane is clear.
