Lanes have been closed in both directions on Surfers Paradise’s Ferny Ave for ‘emergency’ road works.

Just one lane remains open in both directions as the Gold Coast City Council completes the work between Peninsular Drive and Thomas Drive.
Motorists are urged avoid travelling through the area and allow extra travel time.
The emergency road works began yesterday morning which caused heavy congestion from Surfers Paradise to Broadbeach.
