Emergency services respond to reports of car crash on Gold Coast

A CHILD has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after the car he was in crashed at Upper Coomera.

A CHILD has been taken to hospital in a serious condition after the car he was in crashed at Upper Coomera.

Paramedics and police were called to the corner of Days Rd and Coomera Grand Drv just after 10am to reports of a crash.

It is understood a female aged in her 30s was driving with the five-year-old child when their vehicle rolled.

The child was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a serious but stable condition with a head injury along with the female driver who suffered abrasions from the seatbelt.

Meanwhile, two people were injured after a crash on High St in Southport about 10.13am.

A male in his 70s suffered a chest injury while another patient of unknown age suffered unknown injuries and was taken to hospital.
