WITNESSES say a man hurt in a crash on Central St at Arundel crawled from the wreck after the car rolled.
It is still unclear how the crash happened, but it appears a Mazda travelling west crossed into oncoming traffic and flipped in front of a parked Woolworths truck about 11am
The man suffered head injuries and was taken in a stable condition to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
The east lane of Central St is closed as emergency services clear the crash scene,
Police have confirmed the man in the car was conscious and talking after the crash.
He suffered a large cut to the head in the crash.
Police have accompanied the man, in his 20s, to the hospital to conduct breath testing.
Investigations into the cause of the crash continue.
Meanwhile a baby boy was taken to hospital as a precaution after a two car crash on Brisbane Rd at Labrador about 11.20am.
He displayed no obvious signs of injury.
