UPDATE: Trams have resumed on the Gold Coast after a power issue cut services for several hours this morning.
At 9am, services resumed and no further delays are expected.
EARLIER: TRAM services have been suspended on the Gold Coast this morning causing commuter chaos.
G: Link services were suspended in both directions between Southport and Broadbeach South stations early this morning due to a power issue near Florida Gardens.
It has caused long delays with replacement buses operating to transport commuters along the line.
Delays of up to 30 minutes are expected.
Technicians are on site.
