EMERGENCY services have been kept busy this afternoon with car crashes and a boating accident.
Paramedics were called to Broadbeach Waters around 2.30pm after a man in his 50s suffered a fractured leg while on a boat.
He was transported to Pindara Private Hospital in a stable condition.
Earlier this afternoon paramedics also attended a crash at Mudgeeraba crash involving a motorcycle and a car.
Crews were called to Franklin Dr just before 3pm.
Paramedics treated a man, believed to be in his 30s, for minor leg injuries.
This morning traffic was banked up for more than a kilometer on the M1 at Nerang after a three-vehicle crash.
Emergency crews were called at about 11.52am after reports of an accident involving two cars and a semi-trailer.
Two people were assessed on scene and transported stable to Gold Coast University Hospital with minor injuries.
One lane was partially blocked while tow trucks removed the vehicles involved.
