EMERGENCY services are assessing patients after a 4WD rolled at Hope Island.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services said the vehicle had rolled on to its roof after a two-vehicle crash about 3pm.
It’s believed the occupants of both vehicles were able to get themselves out of the vehicles after the crash on Broadwater Ave and Helensvale Rd intersection.
Paramedics are now assessing the occupants and tow trucks are waiting to clear the scene.
Hope Island local Dean Harrison witnessed and said he was fed up with seeing accidents on roundabouts in his suburb.
“It’s causing delays, traffic is starting to back up,” Mr Harrison said.
“We usually see accidents around here, people don’t slow down for the roundabouts.”
He urged people to slow down.
“Whenever there’s rain we see accidents or signs knocked down when vehicles have crashed into them overnight,” he said.
“People need to drive to the conditions.”
