Firefighters have responded to a fire at an upmarket home on the outskirts of Townsville. The news follows a spate of accidents around the city over the weekend.

Firefighters have responded to a fire at an upmarket home on the outskirts of Townsville.
Queensland Fire Department confirmed that two fire-fighting crews were at the scene of the fire in Cataract Ave, Rangewood that started about 9.50am on Sunday morning.
A QFD spokeswoman said the fire was isolated to a bedroom.
Queensland Ambulance Service confirmed that all occupants of the private address were able to escape the property unscathed.
A QAS spokeswoman said the fire had been confined to the bedroom.
She said paramedics remained on scene as QFD firies ventilated the property.
Two QFD appliances remain on scene at 10.50am.
EARLIER
Meanwhile, paramedics transported three patients to Townsville University Hospital following three separate E-scooter accidents in the central city over the weekend.
The accidents follow repeated warnings from police about the safety of the devices.
In the first incident at 2.41am on Saturday, QAS said a female in her 30s suffered minor injuries following a spill on the on the corner of Sturt and Denham streets.
In the second, a female in her 50s was transported in a stable condition with a shoulder injury following an accident on Sir Leslie Thiess Drive at 7.43pm, also on Saturday.
In the most recent, QAS said a patient was in a stable condition following the third incident involving the electric devices following an incident on Burnda Street, Kirwan at 11.56am on Sunday.
Just 30 minutes later, a patient listed as being stable was taken to TUH following a motorcycle crash on Bowden Road at 12.27pm.
In Charters Towers, a pedestrian was transported stable to Charters Towers Hospital following a vehicle and pedestrian incident on Oxford Street at 12.10pm.
And in Hinchinbrook, QAS transported a girl in her late teens to Ingham Hospital after her motorcycle crashed on a private property on Neames Inlet Road, Macknade at 1.06pm.
QAS said that a vehicle collided with a pedestrian in Kelso at 9pm on Saturday.
“One stable female patient in her 20s with a leg injury has been transported to Townsville University Hospital following a vehicle and pedestrian incident on Pompeii Street at 9pm.”
