The mum said the teens were screaming “give us the f--king keys’.

She told Nine that the teens had jumped the fence and come down the side of her property.

‘Horrific’: Knife held to mum’s throat during home invasion
Police have revealed horrifying details about an armed home invasion in Townsville early on Sunday morning.
Queensland Police Service said it was investigating a break and enter at a house in Mount Louisa at 3.30am.
Kristy Patricia, at home with her three young children, said three teenagers smashed their way into her home in Puffer Court.
“They had knives and held them to my throat, they stole my vehicle, a bronze Ford Everest.”
Ms Patricia said she had only recently moved into the home.
She said police responded quickly to the incident.
“Thank you to all the neighbours in the street for assisting police early hours this morning,” she wrote on social media.
“If anyone else has any info please feel free to send me a message that may help assist police.”
Ms Patricia was contacted for comment.
A QPS spokesman confirmed that the “unknown offenders” forced their way into the house by breaking a glass door.
“When the offenders have been confronted by a resident, one of the offenders produced a knife and demanded the resident’s car keys,” he said.
“Police arrived on scene at about 3.45am, however the unknown offenders have fled the scene in the resident’s bronze Ford Everest prior to police arrival.”
The spokesman confirmed that the three children were home at the time of the robbery but that no one was physically injured.
“Investigations are ongoing,” he said.
“Anyone with relevant information or vision is urged to contact police.”
Townsville MP Adam Baillie said the incident was “truly horrific and demonstrates how brazen and violent the youth criminals have become after years of zero consequences”.
“I appreciate the police got there quickly, and their efforts to apprehend the offenders and hold them to account,” he said.
“These types of crimes being committed by anyone is completely unacceptable in our society.”
Mr Baillie, whose LNP government was elected to office amid promises to crackdown on youth crime, promised to continue to strengthen the laws and “provide police with more resources to make our community safer”.
“A public hearing was held this week regarding the additional offences we have introduced to Adult Crime, Adult Time laws,” he said.
“I am looking forward to voting on passing the additional offences for Adult Crime, Adult Time into law.”
Hinchinbrook MP Nick Dametto, deputy leader of Katter's Australian Party, said he would continue to fight for his “Castle Law” proposal that would allow Queenslanders the legal right to use whatever means were necessary to defend their homes or properties during an invasion.
