A man in his 50s has suffered life-threatening injuries after a motorbike crash on Sunday morning.
Queensland emergency services were called to a traffic crash on Flinders Highway near Pentland at around 11am where it was reported a man had fallen off his motorbike.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said he was flown to Townsville University Hospital after 1pm with life threatening chest, pelvis and leg injuries.
A Queensland police spokesman said officers were called to assist and blocked the Flinders highway but it has since reopened.
It has been deemed as not suspicious.
Pentland is a small rural town on the Overlander’s Way, just over 100km from Charters Towers and 140km east of Hughenden.
