A MAGNITUDE 3.5 earthquake has been recorded off the North Queensland Coast today.
Geoscience Australia recorded the minor quake about 12.55pm off the Bowen coast.
A GA spokeswoman said there hadn’t been any reported tremors by members of the public.
The last coastal Bowen earthquake occurred on June 28, which was a magnitude 3.9.
The region was subject to two earthquakes within two weeks in January this year.
