Magnetic Island: Woman injured in four-metre fall near top of Forts Walk
A rescue is underway after a woman was injured after falling from a popular walking track in North Queensland.

A woman who was badly injured in a fall on a popular Magnetic Island walking track has been rescued.
North Queensland emergency services confirmed that a 31-year-old female had fallen about four metres near the top of Forts Walk, Florence Bay about 6.10pm Tuesday.
Initial reports were the woman had fallen from a rock and may have been laying injured on the track for a period of time before she was found.
Queensland Ambulance Service said the woman had suffered back injuries.
She was in a stable condition and was taken out via stretcher to the Magnetic Island Clinic.
The three-kilometre, one-way walk in the Magnetic Island National Park is popular with tourists.
The journey along the grade-three track takes about 80 minutes.
