Gregory Clubb’s manslaughter charge heard in Townsville court on Monday

The man charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Townsville woman Jennifer Board had his case heard in court. Read what happened.

THE man charged with manslaughter in relation to the death of Townsville woman Jennifer Board had his case heard in Townsville Magistrates Court on Monday.

Gregory Clubb didn’t appear in the court when his matter was mentioned by defence lawyer Julie Kefford.

She was seeking a full brief of evidence from the prosecution.

Police prosecutor Peter Obermayer said they were still awaiting three witness statements and traffic camera footage.

He expected the full brief to be completed by September 7 and would work towards providing Ms Kefford a partial brief in the meantime.

Clubb was remanded in custody and his matter will be mentioned again on August 30.
