Flinders Hwy: Two-vehicle crash reported at Mingela

Multiple emergency crews are responding to reports of a two-vehicle accident on the Flinders Highway south of Townsville.

Multiple emergency crews are responding to reports of a two-vehicle accident on the Flinders Highway south of Townsville.

Queensland Ambulance Service said crews from Townsville were responding to the accident at Mingela south of the Reid River at 5.14pm on Monday.

A QAS spokesperson said crews were yet to arrive on scene but initial reports indicated as many as three potential patients.

At least one the victims is understood to be trapped in the vehicle.

Three Queensland Fire Department have sent three crews.

QFD have been contacted for comment.

Queensland Police Service have been contacted for comment.
