‘They’re from the farm’: The Hawkins kids get up to mischief in London

Geelong businesswoman Emma Hawkins shares hilarious snippets from a family holiday in London with husband, retired Geelong AFL-star Tom, and their three ‘farm’ kids.

Geelong businesswoman and mum-of-three Emma Hawkins shared candid moments of her ‘farm’ kids running amok while on a family holiday in London.

Ms Hawkins – who is on holiday in London with retired Geelong AFL star husband Tom Hawkins and their three children, Arabella, Primrose and Henry – posted hilarious videos to TikTok proving you can take the kids out of the country, but not the country out of the kids.

In one clip, Ms Hawkins’ two-year-old son Henry can be heard asking to “find some grass” so that he can play with his toy tractors, while standing in front of the grand facade of Buckingham Palace.

Ms Hawkins also shared snippets of Henry attempting to milk a statue cow in Chelsea, rolling his toy trucks through a patch of grass, and joyfully screaming alongside his sisters Arabella and Primrose as they chase pigeons.

In a ‘get ready with me’ video posted to TikTok a day later, Ms Hawkins said: “I don’t know what they do with kids in London, because they all walk so calmly.

“I know my kids are feral. They’re pretty well behaved, but they’re from [a] farm.”

She said she was going to purchase a leash for her son Henry because she was worried about him near the busy roads.

“Our kids don’t have great awareness of roads in general, because they live on a farm, and this is just like, next level,” she said.

Ms Hawkins also revealed their first day in London was not without drama, as a man aggressively confronted the family in their accommodation for being too loud, and ultimately threatened to call the police.

“They [the kids] woke up at four in the morning and they weren’t being crazy, but they were going up and down the stairs,” she said.

“Tom got this aggressive knock on the window … and he’s like ‘tell your kids to shut the F up’.

“I was like ‘oh my gosh, I’m so sorry’. I went to go and explain that ‘sorry, our kids have jet lag’, and he’s like, ‘I don’t give an F, I can hear them’.”

Despite the initial hiccup, the family appears to be enjoying their time abroad.

Ms Hawkins shared they were joined on the trip by Tom’s father, Jack.

The couple also posted photos from Royal Ascot, a prestigious five-day series of horse races.

Ms Hawkins shared in a post to Instagram that the family will soon be jetting off to France for the next leg of their holiday.
