Stax Anna Paul meet and greet: Activewear brand slammed for meet and greet with OnlyFans star

Fans of Anna Paul have smashed activewear label STAX after a collaboration with the influencer and OnlyFans star descended into chaos.

Fans who attended a meet and greet with TikTok star and OnlyFans creator Anna Paul have lashed the activewear brand that organised the event.

Celebrating her collaboration with Australian apparel brand Stax, the 23-year-old influencer was slated to do an in-store appearance at its Hay Street Mall location in Perth’s CBD.

While the brand expected 200 to 300 people to attend, fans had began lining up from 10.30pm the night before.

By the event’s slated start time of midday, the entire shopping strip was overwhelmed with over a thousand people, with reports of shoving, queue jumping and some attendees collapsing.

Police were later called to the store and the meet and greet was cancelled. A statement from WA Police said it was due to the “size of the crowd and lack of appropriate security and other event planning in place to cope with the larger than expected crowd”.

One woman who had been lining up since 7am said the crowd was “insane” and blamed Stax for the poorly organised event.

“It was very disappointing,” said TikTok user, @tiffashleigh.

“I just wasted five hours of my day to go meet Anna Paul, which I didn’t even get to.”

She said that by 11am, the crowd was pushed into the “side of the street, like sardines”.

“People were pushing you from behind, so you literally had no choice but to push forward to the person in front of you (even if you didn’t want to) or get trampled on and fall.

Tiffy claimed that police told her that four people collapsed and said she saw a girl in the Stax store being treated by paramedics.

Another fan slammed the brand for ‘not knowing how to organise an event’.

“There was no fencing whatsoever when we got here and there was already 2000 people here when we got here at 7am,” said TikTok user @thaliahorgan.x.

“So Anna Paul, we still love you but f**k you Stax for not knowing how to organise an event because we asked all the cops and rangers and they had no clue there was an event happening.”

In one of the many videos which showed the packed and sprawling crowd, a group of teenagers was seen jumping and chanting Paul’s name.

Later in the clip one girl can be heard saying: “Oh my god, I’m getting squashed”.

The caption of the video said the behaviour of the people in the crowd was unacceptable.

“I’m absolutely disgusted at the events that had happened at Anna Paul’s meet and greet,” it read.

“People were throwing food at people and making deodorant bombs. it got to the point where people were passing out and allegedly (having) seizures.”

A statement released by Stax at 4pm on Sunday said they were forced to cancel the event due to direction from Perth Police.

“We are overwhelmed with the response and cannot thank you all so much for continually supporting Stax. and all that we do,” the statement read.

“As you can imagine this is not how we foresaw today going, I am personally heartbroken that we cannot go ahead.

“We love and appreciate each and everyone of you.”

Paul – who was more than five million followers on TikTok, two million Instagram followers, and is one of the top-earning creators on Only Fans – also apologised for the chaotic event.

The Sunshine Coast woman has more than five million followers on TikTok and two million fans on Instagram. Paul is also one of the top earners on OnlyFans.

“Due to safety, the West Australia Police had to shut down the Perth Meet and Greet early. It became a huge safety hazard,” she wrote in an Instagram stories.

“I am so, so, so sorry. We tried our very best to work with the Police but it got too much.

“Your safety is always our number one concern always.”
