Gold Coast Bulletin Women of the Year highlights

Nominations for the Gold Coast Bulletin Woman of the Year awards, brought to you by Harvey Norman, have opened for 2024.

This year the prestigious annual campaign has expanded with new extra categories of Fashion Retail Stars and Professionals along with plans for an even bigger and better awards night.

The Champions of Women category for men is continuing after being won posthumously last year by Urbis director, father and husband, the late Matthew Schneider.

The awards highlight and celebrate many of the unsung heroes in the community in the arts, business, sport, education, tourism, volunteering and more.

For those who believe they are worthy (yes, you can self-nominate) or those wanting to put someone else forward, here are the full list of categories for this year:

- ANGELS AMONG US (presented by St Hilda’s School Gold Coast);

- CHAMPIONS OF EDUCATION (presented by Affinity Education);

- CHAMPIONS OF SPORT (presented by Harvey Norman);

- ENTREPRENEURS (presented by Coastal);

- ENVIRONMENTAL WARRIORS;

- WELLNESS WARRIORS;

- YOUNG WOMEN (presented by Glitter Girl);

- STARS OF TOURISM (presented by Experience Gold Coast);

- FASHION RETAIL STARS;

- CHAMPIONS OF THE ARTS;

- CHAMPIONS OF WOMEN (for males, presented by Village Roadshow Theme Parks);

- PROFESSIONALS;

- PEOPLE’S CHOICE (presented by the Star Gold Coast);

- WOMAN OF THE YEAR (presented by the Gold Coast Bulletin and Harvey Norman).

NOMINATIONS AND THE AWARDS NIGHT UPDATES HERE

The winners of each category become the finalists for the ultimate Woman of the Year award - and readers of goldcoastbulletin.com.au will vote for the People’s Choice winner.

You can self-nominate or nominate someone worthy

Save the date for the awards night and join us at The Star on Saturday 16 November as the 2024 category winners and overall Gold Coast Bulletin Woman of the Year are announced.

Tickets include a three-course dinner, five-hour drinks package plus a complimentary gift bag from the Gold Coast Bulletin and event sponsors.

Early bird tickets will be on sale from Saturday until September 22 at $199 each or $1890 for a table of ten.
