PERSONAL trainer Sarah Sutton prides herself on helping woman to fall in love with exercise.
The Upper Coomera was nominated in the Wellness Warriors category in the Gold Coast Women of the Year competition for inspiring others to lead healthy and active lifestyles.
“I support women on their fat loss journey without expecting them to be perfect,” she said.
“My passion comes from seeing so many every day women struggle with heir body image.
“Seeing them overwhelmed because there is so much noise on the internet confusing them, do this, don’t eat that, low carb, keto, HIIT, fat burning walks.

“Knowing that I can simplify fat loss for them and I can help them become the most self confident, body confident happy self is why I do what I do.
“And the best part is I get to witness this first hand and it just makes me so proud.”
Ms Sutton received multiple nominations in the wellness category which she said filled her with “gratitude and joy”.
“I think I was nominated because I am real and authentic with my client base,” she said.
“I strive to ensure women receive accurate health, nutrition and weight loss goals and are no longer being sucked into the misinformation drip fed to them on social media.
“At the end of the day my passion is helping women so I guess you could say winning this would mean the world to me.”

One of Ms Sutton’s clients, Krystal Stoopman, said she nominated the trainer because she helped her deal with pain from her Rheumatoid Arthritis.
“I don’t live like a normal 27 year old and I have limitations,” she said.
“Sarah is the first trainer who has understood my limits, listened to my medical history and has not physically broken me. This means so much to me.
“At other gyms on the Gold Coast I have become so physically so sore that I am just unable to come back and have even been bullied into coming back which mentally was a horrible feeling for me but with Sarah, it is nothing like that.

“I am becoming stronger, fitter and healthier all with her help.”
“She is so empathetic to auto immune issues because she suffers from an auto immune disease herself.
“I have never met someone who is so committed and invests so much of herself into women’s health and fitness and that is why I think she is an amazing woman.”
