SOME parts of the Gold Coast have no planned starting date to be connected to the NBN.
Parts of Advancetown, Beechmont and Gilston do not have a date readily available when the NBN will be rolled out, while other areas, such as parts of Arundel, Neranwood, Coombabah, Hope Island, Bonogin and Elanora, will have access to NBN either by the end of December 2019 or mid 2020.
So far, more than 40 per cent of Gold Coast premises have been connected to the NBN as the rollout continues.
Out of 285,000 homes, 107,000 are now ready to connect.
And beginning in August, parts of Burleigh and Merrimac will have access to increased bandwidth through the latest DOCSIS 3.1 technology, followed by Ashmore, Gilston, Highland Park and Mudgeeraba before the end of the year.
Parts of Coolangatta, Tweed Heads, Currumbin Waters, Currumbin Valley, Reedy Creek, Bonogin, Robina, Highland Park, Surfers Paradise, Gilston, Mt Nathan, Maudsland, Oxenford, Pacific Pines, Upper Coomera, Pimpama, Norwell, Ormeau, Stapylton and Yatala have already been connected.

The build, which is the NBN installation, is progressive and those receiving NBN have 18 months to connect.
