BRAZEN teens are posting videos to social media appearing to show them taunting police.
The notorious ‘Southside Gang’ has been gloating on social media, including posting videos appearing to show them on the run from police, along with images of the cars they’ve stolen.
This video was posted to one of the group’s social media accounts last week.
It appears to show a car travelling at high speed with police in pursuit.
The passenger is filming with the blind spot mirror in focus, showing flashing lights following behind, while making a gun motion with one hand.
Queensland Police were unable to comment on the specific video, saying it was not evident when or where the footage was taken, but confirmed police were aware of the group’s social media channels.
Inspector Paul Dalton said posts on social media showing criminal acts would be used as evidence in court, where possible.
“If you’re going to involve yourself in criminality those decisions will affect your life in the future,” Insp. Dalton said.
