Shocking vision has revealed the moment a young Parafield Gardens tradie was beaten by a group of men after an alleged car park dispute.
Charanpreet Singh had just pulled into a car park in Adelaide’s CBD on Saturday night to see the Illuminate festival with his wife when a group of men approached him and allegedly demanded he move his car.
“One of the guys just came from behind and just punched me through the window, and I started bleeding,” he told 7NEWS.
“I was just blanked out on the floor.”
The 22-year-old suffered several injuries requiring surgery, including a broken nose and trauma to his eye, and doesn’t know when he’ll return to work.
“I was trying to protect myself but I couldn’t.”
Mr Singh said he wants justice and that the perpetrators should be “arrested as soon as possible”.
Police have arrested a 20-year-old from Enfield, who was charged with assault and later bailed.
Police are still searching for the other suspects.
