Suspect on the run after driver slashed with knife, robbed after teen ran in front of women’s car at Paralowie

Police are hunting a teenage boy they say deliberately ran in front of a car before robbing the female driver at knifepoint and stabbing her in Adelaide’s north.

A teenage boy who ran in front of a car then allegedly robbed the female driver before cutting her with a knife in Adelaide’s north Tuesday night is on the run.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Martins Rd, Paralowie, just before 5pm, after reports a woman was robbed after a teenage male ran in front of her car.

When the driver stopped, he allegedly produced a knife and threatened the victim and demanded money from her.

The victim handed over her purse and the suspect allegedly stole money before assaulting the victim, cutting her arm.

The woman was then taken to hospital for the treatment of minor injuries.

The suspect is described as being of caucasian appearance, about 173cm tall, with short, dirty blond hair. He had a medium build and was wearing a dark-coloured T-shirt, black shorts and white sneakers.

He was last seen running towards a nearby golf course.
