Road reopens after serious crash involving car and motorcycle at Victor Harbor

A Victor Harbor man sustained life-threatening injuries when his Harley Davidson collided with a car in the holiday town.

A 65-year-old man from Victor Harbor suffered life-threatening injuries when his motorcycle collided with a car in the holiday town on Saturday morning.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Crozier Rd and Lindsay St after a crash between a Toyota SUV and a Harley Davidson just after 11am Saturday morning.

The motorcycle rider was taken to the hospital while the Toyota driver, an 82-year-old Hindmarsh Island man, was not injured.

The road was closed following the crash but has since reopened.
