SAPOL has released new footage in the hopes of identifying two men as part of their investigation of the death of Bill Frangos last month.
The 72-year-old was allegedly murdered in a house fire on November 7 in Woodville Gardens. Police and emergency services were called to the house just after 4am.
Newly released CCTV footage features two men of African appearance and a red Ford Falcon XR6 utility.
The car has a distinctive chrome roll bar and a loud sports exhaust and is believed to have been in the vicinity on the night of the murder.
Detective Inspector Andrew Macrae from Major Crime Investigation Branch said “Major Crime Detectives are investigating if the people who murdered Bill were known to him or were in the vicinity of his house prior to his murder”.
Mr Frangos was said to be a “well-known member of the community.”
SAPOL are urging the public and members of the African community to provide any information by contacting Crime Stoppers.
