Bus breakdown causes delays near Blackwood High School on Shepherds Hills Rd at Eden Hills

A bus breakdown near an Adelaide high school caused headaches for motorists on Monday, after it blocked a busy intersection during the pick-up rush.

A bus breakdown caused extensive traffic delays in Adelaide’s south east on Monday afternoon.

A bus became stuck at the intersection of Shepherds Hills Rd and Seymour St – across from Blackwood High School – at Eden Hills.

It caused extensive school pick up delays on the first day of term two.

South Australia Police, who were at the scene, urged motorists to avoid the area if possible as the incident caused significant impact to traffic along a large stretch of Shepherds Hills Rd.
