A western suburbs man has been arrested and charged with possessing child exploitation material and breach of bail.
Detectives from the Special Crime Investigation Section arrested the 45-year-old man on Friday.
The man appeared in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday and was not granted bail.
Earlier this week, two men from the Murray Mallee were charged with possessing child exploitation material.
Detective and digital evidence experts attended the home on Monday and arrested the men, aged 25 and 50.
Detectives from the SA Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team, who are from the SA Police’s Public Protection Branch and the Australian Federal Police, allege they found devices containing child exploitation material.
The two men were charged with possessing child exploitation material, and were bailed to appear in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on June 7.
Police have reminded the public that accessing, downloading and trading child exploitation material is not a victimless crime and that every image depicts a child being abused.
Parents and carers, who need advice and support on how they can protect children online, are encouraged to visit ThinkUKnow, an online Australian Federal Police education program designed to prevent online child sexual exploitation.
