‘Lit up every room he walked into’: Mate of Brynn Ingrames killed in Barossa Valley workplace accident starts fundraiser
A GoFundMe has been started by a friend of a 46-year-old man who died in a tragic workplace accident, after a stone wall collapsed and trapped him on Thursday morning.

A man killed in a workplace accident at a popular Barossa Valley winery on Thursday morning is being remembered as someone “full of heart”, who would go the extra mile to help others.
Brynn Ingrames, 46, died while working at Laughing Jack Wines near Nuriootpa after a stone wall collapsed and trapped him under the rubble on Thursday morning.
Emergency services, including Medstar paramedics were called to business on Stonewell Road at 11am, and attempted to save Mr Ingrames, however, he died at the scene.
Since his death, a GoFundMe organised by his friend, Christopher Maiolo, described Mr Ingrames as a kind and caring person, who would drop anything to help friends and family.
“Brynn was the kind of bloke who lit up every room he walked into — full of heart, humour, and an unwavering commitment to helping others,” he wrote.
“Whether it was lending a hand without being asked, cheering up a mate on a rough day, or going the extra mile just because he could, Brynn embodied what it meant to be a truly good person.”
Mr Maiolo said his friend cared “deeply” for others, and that he was trying to raise at least 10k to give his family some “breathing room” as they “navigate life without their rock”.
The GoFundMe has already reached $4,500.
A spokesperson for SafeWork SA told The Advertiser they had responded to the incident, and that “investigators and inspectors” would inquire into the circumstances surrounding Mr Ingrames.
Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
