Elderly woman hit by car on Angas St in Adelaide CBD rushed to hospital

An elderly woman has been hit by a car in Adelaide’s CBD and rushed to hospital with serious injuries.

An elderly woman who was hit by a car in Adelaide’s CBD has been rushed to hospital.

About 2.50pm on Thursday, emergency services where called to the corner of Angas St and Pulteney St, near the Calvary Hospital, after reports a car hit an elderly pedestrian.

The female pedestrian taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital via ambulance with serious injuries.

Major Crash investigators have been notified of the crash but are not attending at this stage.

Angas St is closed to traffic between Chancery Ln and Pulteney St.
