A young Adelaide couple and their friend have been charged with trafficking cocaine and cannabis and laundering thousands of dollars.
Daniel Eelbeck, 30, of Noarlunga Downs and his partner Keisha-Skye Magua, 26, of Hackham are charged with multiple counts of trafficking as well as cultivating 10 cannabis plants.
A third co-accused, Shaun Richard William Hunt, 31, of Noarlunga Downs, is also charged with the offending.
Court documents released by the Adelaide Magistrates Court show the trio are accused of trafficking a commercial quantity of cocaine at Noarlunga Downs on February 3, 2022.
Under current controlled substances legislation, a commercial quantity of cocaine is between 100g-750g pure or 200g-1kg mixed.
They are also charged with basic trafficking cocaine, trafficking cannabis and laundering $7260, all on the same day at Noarlunga Downs.
On a separate court file, the trio are charged with diverting electricity and possessing prescribed equipment used in the cultivation of cannabis.
Mr Hunt is also charged with possessing cannabis and a device used to smoke the drug.
Mr Eelbeck is individually charged with possessing a dangerous article and a prescription drug without permission.
During a court hearing last week Peter Hill, for Ms Magua, said that if the prosecution continue with charges against his client, he would contest any evidence proving her involvement.
“I can indicate to the court that I would make no case submissions if the charges continue against my client,” he said.
Jessica Kurtzer, for Mr Eelbeck, and Tim Clarke, for Mr Hunt, said their clients would be ready to answer the charge during their next hearing.
The trio will appear in court again next month.
