The SA Country Fire Service has downgraded its warning level in relation to the Paris Creek fire.
Earlier today at 1:37pm, a watch and act warning was issued for the blaze burning in Paris Creek, with residents advised to leave immediately.
However, the CFS now says, “at this time there is no threat to life or property and firefighters are attending this fire.”
The advice is now for residents to “monitor conditions”.
The Country Fire Service was alerted to a grass fire just after 11am, and as of 2pm it had spread across 16 hectares.
Eight aircraft and 12 firefighting vehicles have been dispatched, according to a CFS spokeswoman.
Paris Creek is located five kilometres northwest of Strathalbyn.
