Mr Indrizzi was the managing director of the company currently involved in parts of the $450m office tower project at 60 King William Street in the Adelaide CBD.

Exclusive Linings, the building company, is also involved in the $165m Adelaide Airport upgrade, including the Virgin lounge.

They specialise in constructing the ceilings and walls of buildings.

He worked with the company for almost 12 years, fitting “two life times into one” according to friend Susan Tate.

Hundreds posted on Facebook to remember Mr Indrizzi, who was in his 40s.

Robert Gatani said “John was more to me than a friend”.

“Truly more (of) a brother to me, acted and treated me better than my own family, heart of gold.

“We spent 25 long years growing up together and I will never forget you,” Mr Gatani wrote.

“Heartbroken is an understatement, he was a mate, a friend, and was always there for me, he will be forever missed but never forgotten,” friend, Scott Wiliamson wrote.

Brooke Bailey is “grateful for the good times” and for the memories she created with Mr Indrizzi and his family.

“John was such an amazing man,” another friend, Codie Lambert posted.
