Audi bursts into flames on The Esplanade, Port Noarlunga, and police hunt for fire bug
An Audi outside a beachside Adelaide property has been destroyed in a suspicious fire at midnight that forced the homeowners to flee.

An overnight car fire outside a beachside home is being treated as suspicious.
Police and firefighters were called to The Esplanade, Port Noarlunga, just after 12.30am on Friday, to reports of an Audi sedan on fire in a driveway.
The blaze spread from the car to the front balcony of the property.
The occupants were home at the time but were able to escape safely before the fire spread.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with only minor damage caused to the home, however the Audi was destroyed.
Crime scene investigators have gone to the scene and the fire is being treated as suspicious.
The scorched vehicle is still outside the beachside home and damage is visible on a small patch of the balcony, right beneath the vehicle.
Two police officers returned to the scene around 8.10am, and were seen walking along the street and approaching neighbouring properties on Friday morning.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity or has any information that may help the investigation to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
