There have been more dramatic shockwaves in the latest Adelaide radio ratings results with FIVEaa brekky duo David Penberthy and Will Goodings stealing Aunty’s crown.

ABC Adelaide’s breakfast duo Stacey Lee and Nikolai Beilharz, who are also on the AM dial, had been in top spot all year.

But Penberthy and Goodings have emerged triumphant with 14.6 share points, up 0.8 from last survey.

It’s been a good week for Goodings, who has just been named co-anchor of 7News Adelaide’s weekend bulletin, alongside Rosanna Mangiarelli.

Co-hosting the 6pm bulletin on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Will, son of legendary Seven presenter Graeme Goodings, starts his new role this week.

That result gives them a firm lead because Lee and Beilharz plummeted by 4.1 share points to 12.5 to finish in second spot.

Third place has gone to NOVA 919’s Ben Harvey and Liam Stapleton, who are also the kings of breakfast on the FM dial for the second consecutive survey.

The duo gained 1.1 share points, to finish with 11.9.
