Two bikies have been charged with drug trafficking meth during busts across Adelaide, police have revealed.

Serious and Organised Crime Branch detectives arrested the Finks-linked outlaw motorcycle gang members, both 28, during a series of raids across the suburbs on Friday.

Police said officers seized more than 500g methamphetamine during one raid at Myrtle Bank, in Adelaide’s southeastern suburbs.

Authorities will allege in court that between April and 17 August 2023 the pair trafficked in a commercial quantity of methamphetamine.

The first gang member, of Lightsview, is accused of being a senior member of the Finks while the Seaford man is a club associate, according to detectives.

Both men were refused police bail and were due to appear in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.

The officer in charge of the Crime Gangs Task Force, Detective Chief Inspector David Huddy, said: “This seizure of a commercial amount of methamphetamine is significant in its volume and its link with a criminal enterprise involving an Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

“The Serious and Organised Crime Branch use the broader resources of (SA Police) and our partner agencies to disrupt the organised criminal activities of outlaw motorcycle gang members, their associates and professional facilitators.”

He urged anyone with information about outlaw motorcycle gangs, the manufacture, sale and possession of illegal drugs to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

He said any tipsters can stay anonymous.
