A 63-year-old man has been left with serious burns to his face and legs after his shed caught fire at his western suburbs home on Wednesday.

A 63-year-old man has suffered smoke inhalation and serious burns after a fire broke out in a shed connected to his home in Adelaide’s west on Wednesday.
The Advertiser understands that the resident of the home was attempting to decant a gas bottle before the fire started and quickly spread.
Emergency crews were called to the Railway Terrace home at Osborne just before 2:30pm after reports of a garage fire, which spread to a caravan in the backyard of the same property.
Fire crews managed to contain the blaze before it spread to neighbouring homes, however a resident suffered serious burns to his lower body and face.
Medstar crews were also called to the incident, with the man being transported to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he is being treated for serious injuries.
Fire investigators have attended to determine the official cause of the fire and extent of the damage.
